What Is The Best Time To Memorize Quran?

The best time to memorize the Quran is at dawn, right after waking up for the Fajr prayer. This period is ideal because both the mind and body are refreshed after a good night’s sleep. Additionally, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked Allah to bless the early morning hours with Barakah (blessings).

While many adults can easily wake up to memorize the Quran in the early morning, children may struggle due to their school routines. For them, an alternative would be to memorize the Quran in the afternoon and revise their hifdh program lessons before going to bed, ideally after the Isha prayer.

It is important to encourage children to wake up for Fajr prayer, allowing them to spend at least half an hour afterward to memorize or review their hifz lessons.
