If you want to go slow and easy, you can complete 40 pages in 4 months also by memorizing 20 pages in 2 months (60 days). Whenever you memorize anything from the Quran, make sure you understand the summary first and then break down the pages into smaller parts to follow 1 part at a time. Always revise two or three times after finishing your regular hifz classes.
Memorizing 40 pages of the Quran is equivalent to learning two juz, as each juz is about 20 pages long. Assume you are memorizing 2 Juz. If you manage to memorize one Juz in a month, it will take you two months. Another option is to complete two juz in a month if you have excellent memory retention and can recall verses exactly. The time you spend memorizing verses must also be considered when calculating how long it took you to memorize 40 pages.
