There are 3 levels of this course where the above-mentioned topics are divided and will be practiced until perfected. The final level is the entrance step to enroll in an Ijazah course where students will be certified.

Course Curriculum

There are 3 levels in our recitation course, and the curriculum is skillfully divided into these levels to make it graspable for students and to give them ample time for revision of rules.

  • Arabic letters and their pronunciation.
  • Practical drills.
  • Basic Tajweed rules like saakinah, hamzatul wasl, mudood, ghunna, etc.
  • The Meeting of Two Letters (Part 1): Introduction.
  • The Meeting of Two Letters (Part 2): Alike, Similar, Approximates, Far.
  • The Meeting of Two Letters (Part 3): Small, Big, Absolute.
  • The Meeting of Two Letters (Part 4): Rules Of Reading.
  • Al-Waqf Wal-Ibtidaa (the stop and the start).
  • Advanced Tajweed rules that are mandatory for recitation.
  • Hifz of small surahs with proper intonation of recitation.

Course Prerequisites

For online Quran reading classes, there are some prerequisites for students.

  • 3+ years of age is required to learn the recitation of the Quran.
  • A basic knowledge of Arabic letters or a Noorani Qaida course is required to further enhance recitation skills.
  • Stable internet connection and a separate device for the student to attend classes conveniently
  • A good know-how of software like Skype, Zoom, Meet, etc. is suggested for efficient learning.
  • A supportive and calm learning environment to help students focus more on their recitation drills.
  • Regularity and punctuality are mandatory for this program.
